Process & Prices

Book online or by phone. For more info – please watch our ‘How to book a sofa collection‘ video above. Prices vary depending on size and whether we are taking a single item or several.  For example, we charge £48 to remove just a 2 seater sofa, but only £24 if it is taken with other items. We can collect from inside the property for no extra charge. If it’s difficult for you to be there, leave the junk outside and we’ll text you when we’re done.

Sofa recycling & reuse tips

To reduce the chance of a sofa going to landfill:

  • Never remove the fire safety labels and keep all the original cushions
  • If you cannot be present at the collection and need to leave the sofa outside, cover it to protect it
  • If you’re getting rid of a 3 piece suite, do it all at once. Reuse enterprises are more likely to accept a full suite than single items

How else to dispose of a sofa?

The easiest way to get rid of an old sofa is use AnyJunk. But if you’re keen to save money and have the time, here are four alternatives:

  1. If your sofa is in good condition with a fire safety label, try donating it to a furniture reuse charity like British Heart Foundation
  2. Put it outside with a “PLEASE TAKE ME” note attached
  3. Advertise it on eBay, Gumtree or FreeCycle
  4. Drive it to your local CA site or book a bulky waste collection from your council.
