Booking your Collection

Click the red button and enter your postcode to view prices and book online. Choose the Man & Van option. Book a single item collection or include your mattress as part of a larger clearance. We charge £15 + VAT per mattress. You can choose an am or pm slot as standard or pay a small premium for a 1 hour slot. We can collect from inside or outside the property. All paperwork is emailed as we leave site.

Free mattress disposal

Before booking AnyJunk, it’s always worth considering whether someone else might like to reuse your mattress. The chances of reuse are much higher if the following applies:

It’s a mattress made by a well known brand with the label still on it
It’s clean & dry (not left outside in the rain) without any stains or rips

If you think someone might want it, pop it outside on a dry day with a sign saying ‘TAKE ME’. For more guidance on mattress disposal, read our guide.

When to replace your mattress?

The Sleep Council recommends replacing your mattress every 7 years. Although, given they are part of the National Bed Federation which is the trade association for British bed manufacturers, maybe that isn’t the most impartial advice. Equally, Dreams, the well known bed and mattress retailer, recommends replacing your mattress at least every 8 years. Although they also offer a 10 year guarantee on many of their mattresses – which seems slightly at odds with this guidance! So maybe the best advice is to replace your mattress when it starts to be uncomfortable and you can afford to buy a new one.
