Obligation Free Quote Provided On Site
We always provide customers with guidance over the phone but we cannot quote exact rubbish collection prices until we see the job. Once at your premises, your truck team will give you a precise estimate for the rubbish collection. If you don't like the price - just say thanks but no thanks – it is obligation free.
Basic Rates Based On Amount Cleared
Our rates reflect the amount of rubbish collected and include a generous labour allowance for two people to do the loading and clear up for you. Normally, the price is based on how much of the truck's container is filled but collections comprising entirely heavy materials (e.g. soil, builders' rubble, tiles) are charged by weight regardless of volume. For rubbish collections containing a mix of general and heavy rubbish, a weight supplement may be added to reflect the additional disposal costs. Discounts are available for regular Account Customers, very large jobs, and collections with lower than normal labour or disposal costs.

Discounts
Discounts are available on collections of at least 1/2 truck that can be performed at lower than usual cost. All discounts remain at the discretion of your truck team and may not be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Supplements
To reflect additional costs incurred for certain collections, we apply surcharges. Your team will always make you aware of any such charges before commencing a job. Here are the most common, all of which are subject to VAT at 17.5%:

* Require Additional Regulatory Fees (for collections from COMMERCIAL premises only):
- £15 Hazardous Waste Paperwork fee - covers additional paperwork & hazardous waste charge required by Environment Agency
- £18 Premises Code fee - paid directly to the Environment Agency if your premises are not already registered with Environment Agency (0870 850 6506) for collections of hazardous waste weighing more than 200kg (eg. 10 or more CRTs).
Cancellation charge
For collections that are cancelled 24 hours or more before the start of the scheduled arrival window there is no cancellation charge. For collections cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the arrival window a £20 fee will be charged (which will be credited against any subsequent booking).
Truck Dimensions
The volume of each truck's container is 13.5 cubic yards (more than twice the volume of a standard domestic 6 yard skip). The container measures approximately 9.5 feet (2.9 metres) long x 6.7 feet (2.0 metres) wide x 5.8 feet (1.75 metres) high. We always do our best to pack items such that the volume used is minimised.
How To Pay
We ask for payment at the time of collection. We accept all major debit and credit cards. We also accept cheques provided they are accompanied with an appropriate cheque guarantee card. We discourage payment by cash as our drivers do not carry change and we find it unsafe for our drivers to carry large amounts of cash. Customers who are unable to be present at the time of the collection will be asked for credit card details and their cards debited remotely. Any business customers who would prefer to be invoiced rather than pay on the day, should contact us in advance to set up an account.
