Hooray! We’ve been selected as one of 5 organisations short listed for ‘Recycling and Waste Management Business of the Year’ in the National Recycling Awards 2010. Results will be announced on 15th July, so fingers crossed!
What does the award mean?
“In an industry which has had major growth over recent years, waste management and recycling is something that every company needs to consider and it’s not always easy for businesses and organisations to choose the best services available. The winner will be a company that can prove exceptional customer service, innovation, growth and high performance.”

The awards ceremony will be held at the prestigious Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London on Thursday 15 July 2010.
Update: ‘Gutted’ at the National Recycling Awards Ceremony
I’m very sad to report that we just missed out on the prestigious ‘Business of the Year’ award the the ceremony last Thursday. However, we enjoyed a fantastic evening with Hugh Dennis (Mock The Week) managing to cheer us up with some recycling-based humour. Congratulations go to Viridor who left with the award.← New sponsor for the England football team Making Weight Data Obligatory for Waste Collections →
